VS Day 1 — Radar Exploration

Monday Radar strategy: prepare on Sunday, save Fighter and Wingman items, and time gathering and Mission Readiness for efficient scoring.

By DSJericho

Day 1 — Radar Exploration (Monday)

Reach at least 7,190,000 VS Points and open all nine daily reward chests. This guide covers free scoring methods only; paid Diamond pack purchases are intentionally excluded.

Action Base points Maximum shown value
Complete 1 Radar Mission 10,500 26,250
Use 1 Fighter Part 2,600 5,200
Obtain 1 Advanced Wingman Component from a Wingman Chest — Up to 2,300*
Use 1 Stamina 155 310
Use 1 Fighter Combat Chip 4 8
Consume 650 Hero EXP 1 2
Gather 10 Food or Metal 3 6
Gather 6 Oil 3 6

The screenshot shows 2,300 points for the Wingman objective with that player's current VS bonuses. Your point values depend on Alliance Competition research and may change after game updates.

Extra efficiency: Mission Readiness rotates every four hours. Time Hero EXP, Stamina, and Combat Chip use for the matching window so one action scores in both events.

Prepare Radar storage on Sunday

The most important preparation is to begin Monday with the largest possible number of saved Radar Missions.

  1. Open Radar on Sunday and check the saved count beside the blue question-mark icon. The example shows 25/35: 25 missions stored out of a maximum of 35.
  2. Use your own maximum. Capacity depends on Radar level, so do not copy another player's number.
  3. Check the refresh timer. Radar adds another group of missions every six hours and may also show when storage will be completely full.
  4. Complete only enough Sunday missions to leave room for every remaining free refresh.
  5. Work backward from the Sunday-to-Monday server reset. Aim to become full at, or just after, reset so Monday starts with maximum Radar points ready.

Avoid both mistakes: staying full too early wastes free refreshes, while completing too many Sunday missions leaves you below capacity on Monday.

Save Fighter Parts and Combat Chips

Both items score when spent on Fighter upgrades, so save them when possible and use them on Monday.

Fighter Parts

Sources include the Daily Train event, Alliance Excavations, Zombie Siege, the Devourer event shop, Daily Missions, and seasonal events. They are also sold in the Honor, Trial, Alliance, and VIP Shops. Fighter Parts are usually expensive in the VIP Shop, so check the value before buying.

Fighter Combat Chips

Sources include Radar Missions, Doomsday, Common Zombies for Food/Metal/Oil, Zombie Elite Hordes, Nora's Clown Elite Zombies, seasonal events, and the Trial Shop.

Best double-dip window: during Mission Readiness — Fighter Enhancement, spend Fighter Combat Chips and Stamina so both actions score in Mission Readiness and Radar Exploration.

Open saved Wingman Chests on Monday

Wingman Chests award Advanced Wingman materials that count toward the Monday objective. The shown Wingman SR Chest also awards 5 Advanced Wingman Fusion Parts, while the Wingman SSR Chest awards 30.

The currently known shop sources are the Trial Shop, Alliance Shop, and VIP Shop. At the time of this guide, there is no regular event where these materials can be farmed freely in large quantities, although future updates may add sources.

Do not open saved Wingman Chests on random days. Keep them for Monday while Radar Exploration is active. Different screens may use names such as “Advanced Wingman Component” and “Advanced Wingman Fusion Parts.”

Spend Stamina and Hero EXP at the right time

Buy the weekly VIP Shop stock of 30 × 10 Stamina when it resets. This supplies 300 Stamina without real-money spending. Use it on Monday for activities you would normally complete; every Stamina point spent also awards Radar Exploration points.

Keep Hero EXP for Thursday

Hero EXP scores on Monday, but it is needed again for Thursday's Hero Training Day. Use only what you need to reach Monday's goal and preserve a strong reserve for Thursday.

Mission Readiness rotates every four hours. Use Hero EXP during Upgrade Hero. Spend Stamina and Fighter Combat Chips during Fighter Enhancement. The same action then scores once in Mission Readiness and once in Radar Exploration.

Time Food, Metal, and Oil gathering

Radar gathering missions do not count. Use normal resource gathering on the world map.

  1. Find the largest empty resource tiles you can gather efficiently; Levels 9–10 are ideal when available.
  2. A large tile can take roughly 8–10 hours. Start on Sunday so the march returns after Monday begins; points are awarded when the gathered resources reach your base.
  3. After the first marches return on Monday, send them out again and keep gathering throughout the day.
  4. Keep your strongest squad available for missions and combat. Use the other two squads for near-continuous gathering.
  5. Bring every gathering squad home before the Monday-to-Tuesday reset so the resources count on Monday.

Use empty tiles only. Do not attack occupied resource tiles or protected/NAP15 alliances.

Sunday-to-Monday action plan

  • Sunday daytime: check Radar capacity and timing; complete only enough missions to preserve every remaining refresh.
  • 8–10 hours before reset: send gathering squads to large empty Food, Metal, or Oil tiles, timed to return after Monday begins.
  • At Monday reset: begin with Radar storage as full as possible and let prepared gathering marches return.
  • Before spending items: check the active Mission Readiness window. Upgrade Hero means Hero EXP; Fighter Enhancement means Stamina and Combat Chips.
  • During Monday: complete saved Radar Missions, spend Fighter Parts, open Wingman Chests, and keep gathering.
  • Before the next reset: return all gathering squads so their resources score on Day 1.
